TOPIC Leaders who are aware of the social networking tools students, teachers and parents use beyond the classroom will gain valuable insight into school culture, student needs and the opportunities for preventive action. Participants will learn about these tools and discuss their impact on a school’s learning environment and the Working together, participants will discuss guidelines for student and teacher use of these technologies: Facebook * Myspace * Neo Pets * Webkinz * Blogging * Tweeting * Foursquare

NOTE: There will be time between the two workshop days to engage in the "virtual world" in practice for second day. Learners will be linked for networking and more practice.
